Of course he is a racist. He’s also a nationalist, an aristocrat-sympathizer, a homophobe, a patriarch and a religious nutjob who thinks that just about every cultural group under the sun other than cultural conservatives merit being “physically removed from society” and glorifies caste systems.
Of course, this isn’t my answer to the question of why those things suck, it’s just identifying the things that suck.
Frankly I think it’s self-evident that cultural CONSERVATISM has nothing to do with libertarianism despite Hoppe or anybody else believing the exact opposite.
There’s something called “The Enlightenment” to which libertarianism has ‘a few’ philosophical connections. This enlightenment thing is quite at odds with dogmatic institutions like revealed religion and conservatism, both political and ‘cultural’.
Did you substantiate those claims? If you did, link me. If you did not, substantiate them.
If those claims are true, should I disregard his Marxist and Austrian class analysis paper?
They aren’t true, and you should not avoid his paper. It is a good one.

Even if you disagree with Hoppe’s cultural views, would you deny that he’s brilliant in nearly every other area (his critique of democracy, imperialism, etc)? If so, why spend so much time on this?
If you wanted to make any sense, you would take into account the fact that many of those labels exclude each other.
