Fake “free” trade (e.g. NAFTA, GTO) erodes national sovereignty, since it hands over power from a national government to a “transnational” or international government.
Real free trade increases national sovereignty, as it helps expand the economy of a given country, which has a byproduct of increasing tax revenues for the national government, making it much more powerful.
Free-trade does erode the collectivistic/nationalistic delusions that exist in the minds of some people and it erodes the power of the gang of thieves and murderers known as 'the gov’t.
Depending on what you think ‘national sovereignty’ is, real free trade does erode it. And as I said, it is great.
