By the very subjective nature of value which makes capitalism the best system there can be no intrinsic right or wrong answer for this question. However personally I would have to say that overall humanity does deserve capitalism. A huge number of individuals who deserve capitalism will gain from it. A small number of individuals who deserve capitalism will lose slightly from it. A fair number of individuals who don’t deserve capitalism will lose from it. A great number of individuals who don’t deserve capitalism will gain from it.

Government itself is dependent on capital.
Have we abolished the stock market yet? No? Then that means capital is still how man conducts economy in actions.
Do we have free market? No. Do we have capitalism? Yes.
It’s very easy to remove or to suppress the market. Doing away with capitalism altogether would require complete collectivization without anything resembling property ownership - and even the communists could not achieve that. Even the communists needed to run on capital.
