I don’t know if I’m the only one who encounters these, but I’ve gotten about 10 errors from the forum today and countless more times where the loading bar times out and I have to try again. It’s not just today either, I’ve had these problems here ever since I joined.
Anyone else getting this?
Yes. Today is the worst I’ve seen it too. With all the work going on these days on the site, I’m sure it’s just temporary. Someone else probably has more info on the happenings; I"m just letting you know that I’m encountering them as well.
yes. But I only get the errors from my home internet, never school’s internet. Maybe some telecom companies are keeping tabs on who goes to libertarian websites 
I think about that every once in a while.
This happens to me several times a day off and on. 
That’s what you get with Microsoft.net.
Yep, time-outs and errors all the time. I’ve noticed they happen a lot more later in the night.

I also experience similar issues nearly every day, periodically.
I never get them while I’m on Campus using the university’s connection. I get them all the time at home tho.

Yes, this has been happening off and on since I joined.
This forum’s current engine or whatever sucks. We need some classic and light phpBB format.
Its happening right now. I’m on Comcast Cable.
The problem is the server appears to eb getting overloaded and having a hard time responding to HTTP requests. When the pages start failing not only does it fail on my Comcast connection at home. At the same time I am RDP’d into a VM in my datacenter. I’m patched directly into the fiber ring of Seattle. There can be no question of instability on that side. In that case the page also fails to load at the exact same time it fails to load on my PC.
The problems seem to be isolated only to the community part of the website mises.org. It seems that the site is simply just timing out. I don’t get any software errors or anything like that. Below is an example of what I get on IE in my Datacenter.
I also tried telneting mises.org.
Apon sending “GET /community/forums/” I had to wait about a minute+ before HTML feed came through. So it just seems like the server is slow to respond and our browsers are timing out. It is prime time afterall and mises.org is far more rewarding then watching the tube.
Might I recomend one of these for cheap and effective clustering.
Yea, I am just guessing outa my rear. Any how now I’m getting SQL errors. So perhaps thats where the bottleneck is, or perhaps its something entirely different. Here you go.

Things seem to have been getting a lot better concerning page loading. It seems whatever you did greatly helped.
It’s the Mises site/server what have you. When I go to different websites I don’t encounter these issues. This is a very big website though so it’s undoubtedly rocky at times, but I don’t know enough about computers to make any kind of guess at what’s up.
