facebook suicide continued

Is it just me or is it safe to say that the two students “allegedley involved” in the death of Tyler Clementi are innocent? To me, the only reason why this is getting so much coverage is because the student was gay. That is all. If this was any other student, then at best it would be a minor local news story for a few days and would be over very quickly.

The whole case and the coverage itself reminds me of the Duke Debacle where people rushed so quickly to claim that the duke students raped the stripper that as time went on, it was proven that they were innocent all along. I think that the case will turn out the same way.

Does anyone agree with me on this, or am I alone in a small minority camp who thinks this?

I don’t see how one could be held responsible for another person’s suicide, especially over the internet. It literally makes no sense

He was a victim of the modern world, a victim of angry pixels on his computer screen.
