I’d rather have something like a medical card on me at all times if I thought this so vital. Or, you know, face-identification software. Perhaps some fast DNA sequencing. If you really need to push it, some small tattoo of an ID number somewhere on my body. But not chips (although this appears to be simply a data-storing chip).

I’d support a voluntary medical card but absolutely NO CHIPS. They are another way the gov could keep us in 24/7 surveillance plus there known to cause cancer in pets.

And who knows? Maybe the real point behind “ObamaCare” was that, if the requirement to purchase health insurance is held up in court, then a legal precedent can be set for legislation that requires all US citizens to be implanted with RFID chips? Remember, the Nazis also wrapped everything they did in a legal justification (e.g. the Enabling Act).

Ok, now that seems a bit much. Do you think the senators who voted for it actively had that intent? Or was it the powers that be that controlled things from behind the curtain?

I certainly don’t think most (if not all) of the Congressmen who voted for it had that intention. So if anything, it would be the “powers that be” who had (and have) it.

… But you know, the legal precedent for the federal government having the power to order all Americans to purchase something is very exploitable…

Maybe they just need to call such an act ‘The Good Health’ act, and then politicians would have to vote for it, how could they oppose an act with such a name.
