Excellent point about the FDA

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/91656.html

large companies are allowed to make health claims with their food, but small companies are not. They will be SWAT Teamed if they do (amish farmers).

How does the common repub or democrat not see this?

It would almost appear that the FDA is strictly used to take out competition against large drug and food companies.

If you don’t lke Monsanto and Tyson, then die…

I think that what’s more ridiculous is that we politicians discuss legalizing crack but buy raw milk is still a crime in much of the US.

But yeah, this is also bad :slight_smile:

Very good point. Just get government out of regulating food and drugs completely then we won’t have any problems. Well, except for the occasional poisoning of food probably by some government agents in an effort to scare people back into letting them regulate it.

this is aboslutely sickening. Where is the official government apology for that? The decided to anonymously sentence random people to death for drinking alcohol all because a group of people thought (and still thinks) that they know better than anyone else.

It is certainly because of government. They wouldn’t WANT their customers to croak; they are avoiding taxes, like it says.

@Clayton

You know the ATF allows you to make booze today, but you are required by law poison it. Poison shows the feds that you are not planning on consuming it. You can make grain alcohol (ethanol) for energy, though.

Petty bullsiht that allows me to make Mead or apple cider, but not to distill it 30 or 40 times…for real apple jack
