I have learned my lesson, I am not signing up for Mises Academy classes until like the day before they start, you never know when an even better one will become available. Until of course, I have enough cash to take multiple classes at a time.
Will the Mises Academy eventually offer transferable credits, certifications, and/or degrees? If that occurs, I speculate enrollment would soar.

not exactly sure why, but I like The Persistence of Anarchy it sort of puts things in a new light, and I was able to move someone much closer to liberty with it, although they still aren’t ancap, it was a way of putting the debate on better terms.
And as for Audio, I also really enjoyed this short one from the 2010 ASC: Hobbes, Minarchism, & Anarchy A non Hobbesian making the argument for Hobbesian anarchy. If you can make THAT case thats pretty awesome.
That reminded me of Cuzan’s article as well.

For anyone who wants a taste of what the class will look like, check out the lecture posted today at Mises Univesity titled “Protection and Market for Security”. It has to be one of the most funny lectures i’ve ever heard.
I am taking the class 
I’m quite tempted to forgo my remaining pocket money for the year for the sake of taking this class, and at the same time I can’t help myself to do it. Is there any plans to have a similar course following the end of this one? I can rationalize to myself paying for this if it were during winter break when my mind otherwise doesn’t have any mental stimulus, not to mention I should have sufficient funds to pay for it by then. On a similar note, are there currently any plans to have a discounted fee for those who take multiple courses in Mises U or some other rewards program?

was a little surprised that it wasn’t in there already. It seemed to be that that piece was part of the AnCap greatest hits collection.
Couple questions : why is it such a short course? I feel like there would easily be enough material for a regular length course. I guess he doesn’t want too much overlap with the Principles course? But there is already a 3 week overlap as it is.
Under the common objections week, I wonder if we could cover the ‘other’ anarchic theories as well as covering the ‘night watchman state’ folks and their objections.
Also maybe covering transitional ideas would be cool
