Not that its super credible or important… but here’s some comments I see elsewhere:

"I do work for the TSA, those scanners are mostly used for bags and actually help catch some things that seem out of the ordinary. You never get a good enough look at anything, mostly because your too busy looking for electronics (and the fact that you have co-workers and supervisors everywhere) Besides, most people that go through are amerifat, and to tell you the truth looking at nudes are the last thing on my mind while doing my job. Besides, they are now trying to implement male to male and female to female scans, so it would be gender exclusive. To me, it’s more important to do my job I guess, mostly because I have that focus. I can do whatever all I want to when I’m at home, but I at least try to be professional when I gotta scan.

Personally, I am NOT a big fan of using them. We have other methods that are a lot less invasive, although it does take a little bit more time to get particular items through, and it is convenient & makes the airport a lot safer."

I get the feeling that deep down this guy knows that his job is Bullsh!t. I hope he has the intelligence and will to examine that nagging feeling and see the reality of the system he is a part of and get the hell out before he retires burned out and confused

Would you insist your mother, sister or daughter have to lift their skirt in front of other passengers, permitting some $15 an hour rent-a-thug can feel them up, just so you can see them for a holiday?

I don’t condone it at all, condemn it completetly. It’s wrong in everyway possible. We have very mortal short lives, and I put my own flesh and blood pretty high up there. I would take the embarrasement and disgust of such a system to see my family, if it was the only way. I already pay taxes and such. They can’t oppress me anymore then that. As for others, it would be there choice.

Do you have a car? Know anybody else who is planning on going to the New York area for Thanksgiving? You could let them ride for free in exchange for help when it comes to driving.

I’m pretty convinced that the whole thing has a pretty simple purpose: identify sheep and non-sheep. It’s easy: keep a database of who buys a ticket. Harass and molest those who fly. Keep a (shorter) list of those who stand up - that’s easy because you arrest or interrogate them. Now you’ve identified the masses of sheep you can do anything to, and the few you’ll have to round up first.

I don’t fly because I’d be unable to imitate a sheep, and don’t want to be put on the list to be rounded up.

I think you should go, and just ask…what if I don’t want to be groped? What If you say no to touching your groin, ass etc? ask them that. record it.

Yeah, I actually thought about that yesterday. I think I’m going to tell them after I opt-out that they can pat me down except they can’t go above/below ‘this point’ (with my hand) and see what they say while I have my tape recorder out. And I might ask if I can pat him down beforehand, but I’ll see how I’m feeling.
