Roseanne has refuted Austrian economics and Christianity on her blog.

She writes to Michelle Bachmann:

"G0D DOES NOT SEND HURRICANES, NATURE DOES–ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PEOPLE YOU WORK FOR ARE POISONING ALL OF G0D’S HANDIWORK-WHICH IS NATURE, YOU MORON! YOU CHRISTIAN JIHADISTS FREE MARKETERS ARE CAUSING ALL THE EARTHQUAKES AND TSUNAMIS. GET A CLUE, SATAN WORSHIPPING LIAR! "

There you have it. I don’t know what I am going to do. I am not a Christian, but I was on a jihad for free markets and I didn’t even know I was causing hurricanes and tsunamis. But I’m going to change my ways from now on.

And as a technical point by the former Mrs. Tom Arnold: that is rather a God of the Gaps argument to say Jesus is bringing some hurricanes. R is clearly a skilled theologian, in addition to economist, on top of her game.

Well, what can you say, it’s her Jerry Falwell moment.

It’s really funny that people can conduct physics experiments with such precise results and people like Bachmann assume spontaneity when it comes to weather patters on large scales. “Maybe God’ll send rain if we pray for it” or “God will send a hurricane if we don’t follow him.” The only reason they think it’s divine is because they can’t calculate at that level.
