George Soros and the INET

Hi,

So does anyone know if there are any Austrian economists making their presence known at the Institute for New Economic Thinking? Soros announced today on CNBC from snowy Davos that the London School of Economics will host the institute.

The website www.ineteconomics.org mentions that the effort is to bring together as much diversity and youthful thinking into the institute to reinvent economics.

Soros has poured millions into this institute and grants are going from it into academia. The institute is challenging the methodology of mainstream economics, are we letting this opportunity pass? Will Jim Rogers show up and flip the thing on its ear?!? Is this all part of the George Soros conspiracy blown wide open by Glenn Beck?!?!? Can batman escape this time and foil the Joker?!?!?!?

Holla!

dont be fooled… look at their advsory board… keynesians and neoclassicals… The only economist that would be worth listening to is Roman Frydman from NYU. Bruce Caldwell is listed in wiki as part of the advisory board but I do not see him on the board onthe website. But He is an Austrian Economist

The specific personal goal that Soros laid out is to pump out statist crankery en masse to drown out “free-market” economists.
