Has anyone used this website?
Unfortunately I cannot find their stuff for download on torrent sites…
They summarize books and then you just listen to the summaries (key points)…they say alot of companies use them…
I saw it on the airplane mall catalog…

hi, yes I use them. They are a great site, best book summaries around. They really get you to the main ideas of the book fast.
They actually offer 2 free downloads on their site on their home page.
It has really helped me to excel in my job and in my personal development.

How?
well career-wise, knowledge I needed before a meeting was found within a summary i searched for on getabstract- answering the questions I had and helping me structure my presentation. It has helped me understand and be more knowledgeable in other areas I don’t really do at my job- finance, human resources, etc. I feel like I have gained so much knowledge that has helped in networking events and really jumpstart my career, etc. etc. etc.
They have some books on personal finance , time management, etc as well. Really helped me develop myself at a personal level. They have the 7 habits of effective people for example…really applied these points and it has really helped me. It has saved me lots of time and money.
But did it do the presentation for you?
No, of course not, but it was a great resource to complete it :). Able to obtain a lot of knowledge in record time- I develop ideas faster, etc.
