Very interesting read, especially the author’s and editor’s proposed contract law in a stateless society.
How does it work? It combines long-term land-leasing income streams and contract law to create a dynamic and binding constitution which is voluntarily accepted and voluntarily modified over time in a way (a decentralized way) that enables competing voluntary law interpreters (judges), enforcement (polices), and handling of so-called “public goods” without depending at all on either tax revenue. The law systems is built, then, on compensation were possible rather than foregoing compensation in favour of revenge.
The author and the editor, both law professionals, then drafted a contract that can provide all modern property law enforcement in a decentralized society, the contract being based on an entrepreneurial community; which would, for instance in Somalia, encourage foreign trade at the level of any modern economy in a stateless society.
