I received information about this website and it is a simulator that simulates how to decrease the federal debt or at least maintain it to 60% of the GDP in 2018. I decreased it down to 35% of the GDP!!! I make great politician lol. here is the site and enjoy
Haha, that’s pretty cool. Something tells me the government hasn’t found that site yet.
I managed to get it down to 59% of GDP. Although they didnt include most of the changes I would have made given the opportunity…

Thanks for raising taxes…
I sort of wasn’t paying attention at first but not even close to all of the blue choices are good. I chose many red because they were tax cuts. Based on what I feel the correct moves were I ended up at 67% (I think that is right about where it started).
Some of the options are lol…
“Increase homeland security spending, $50b”
“Repeal excise tax on high cost plans, $10b”
I got 74% by reducing the government involvement as much as possible. I was waiting for the “disband all government” button at the very end though…
Yeah I went through it again and realized that and was like crap!!! But overall, a great way to see how they do it in D.C. and quite frankly, i’m a little upset.
I wonder if those are the deficit reduction estimates they gave obama.
I got 67% :6 not enough options for me to cut out certain bureaucracies such as Education, Transportation, Energy, Homeland Security, IRS, and so on!
I actually got it to 59%.
Not enough ability to scrap things. I could have easily made the deficit lower if I could, say, slash Medicare/Medicaid and privitize Social Security.
I’m a cold hearted one, but had to increase veteran spending and disabled children spending.
I’m sure I could get that percentage lower. I just couldn’t increase taxes or create more government. When it comes to “social insecurity” I’d hack the dying limb. I imagine a more fair pole, would have more options for eliminating government a whole lot more.
You reduced the debt to 48% of GDP in 2018, and kept it at a sustainable level through 2030.
34% is the lowest possible reduction according to the pole, or just click blue.
“Enact Carbon Tax or Cap-and-Trade -$330B”
Um, what!?
I managed to slice it to 33%. Or rather, I just clicked everything in blue with the largest numbers.
then you raised quite a lot of taxes
I sure did. Of course, nobody’s gonna mind paying for them. Who’d take such a silly idea like everybody moving out/refusing to pay taxes into equation?
$330 billion? Where did they get that low number from? They must be talking about $330 billion per day.
