How come gypsies do not respect private property? What would be the fate of gypsies in a libertarian society? In Sweden we exclude them from society as much as we can, although gypsies who break away from the gypsy culture gets the same chance as an ordinary Swede, is this how it would woirk in a libertarian society, and can this be used as an example of positive exclusion by society and even be an argument for anarcho-capitalism?

You can’t say that Gypsies as a whole do not respect private property. Some do, others don’t. It’s that simple. Those who don’t will be tried for violating property rights as anyone else would.

I find it funny how nobody like the gypsies. It gets even funnier when someone compare them to jews. Jews have an amazing work ethics intellectual tradition, with more nobels than any other ethnicity, while gypsies really don’t give a damn about science and such (has anyone met a gypsie researcher or enginner?), although they made some great contributions to the world of music.
So yeah, one group was hated by it’s merit, what they were able to over come in many places. The other by its apparent laziness and lack of honesty, and that is very, very hard to overcome.

Your post is absurdly ridiculous. How any “libertarian” can view people as groups and not individuals is beyond me.
I am from a country with a substantial population of gypsies (Spain; we have “indigenous” gypsies and Romanian gypsies, amongst others). There is a stereotype that Romanian gypsies are thieves; my experiences with them have not been bad. They have worked on my fields, sometimes without wage (they were subcontracted by a Romanian we contracted to work on our olive trees), and they have never stolen from me. Spanish gypsies have always been used as labor by my family and I, especially during the grape harvest, and we have never had any problems. The entire bias against gypsies is a xenophobic stereotype. I sugges people that hold these biases to find out for themselves that they are generally incorrect.
I have found this out, and I am racially biased against gypsies because of the way that I was brainwashed as a child (and for some reason, can’t cleanse it).
What does everyone make of the claim that stereotypes are usually empirically true, and that this is the reason they are stereotypes in the first place.

But let’s face it, the gypsies never did much for their own cause, except some good music. When Madonna tried to defend them during a show in Romania, she got booed hard. Even the gay community doesnt support them.
I wouldn’t say that is completely true. I would say that they arise out of misconception, looking at certain people and making hasty generalizations.
No I wouldn’t. I do recognize trends and group dynamics. It’s obvious, for example, that blacks have a higher probability of being violent crime victims. That, however, doesn’t mean that a black family in Beverly Hills should have to pay more for insurance. My point is that you can’t say “blacks are much more violent than whites in America,” since it treats individuals as groups and the statement is false.
The Jews and Gypsies of Europe were historically hated for the same reason, they were more attached to their tribal identity than their homeland.

The French state has attempted to assimilate the gypsies by requiring all towns to have an area where they can park their caravans legally, and send their children to the national schools.
How about cultural groups? What about general rules? In Sweden, the gypsies steal, themselves, and so their children do not learn that stealing is wrong, and their culture in Swden almost encourages theft. How is a cultural group not a group? Do you also think that tere are no musical genres? I am all for individualism, and I agree with Rand that racism is a form of collectivism, but one must not evade reality and the reality is that some cultures allow theft, and some don’t. Also, why is it that Jews are so good at making money? I would say that Jews are good at that because their culture and ethics embrace virtue and capitalism, can’t the opposite be true for another cultural group?
The statement, “In general, blacks are much more violent than whites in America” is, however, true.
We can also break it down by income, and say “In general, blacks with >$x annual income are less violent than blacks with < $x income.” Or we can set reserves for insuring casualties by zip code. Of course, this means that property owners in majority black areas pay more in premiums, so the DOJ brings disparate impact lawsuits against insurers for daring to acknowledge reality in their underwriting practices.
And ironically, as your post acknowledges, an anti-crime policy that was cognizant of black crime rates would benefit blacks much more than whites.
