Happy New Year, everyone! I have to say that the past few months of posting on these forums has enlightened the shit out of me. It’s truthfully annoying to have learned so much in so little time while I see how wrong everything is around me in a new light, but it has been totally worth it. Thank you to everyone who has taught me about libertarianism and Austrian economics these past few months. Here’s to a new year of enlightenment!

The pessimist inside me is tempted to say ,“One year further from it.”, but it’s the New Years, so we’ll go with “closer”.
We head into 2011, a year that I believe may be known as “the bad year.” Events that will unfold before us despite our best efforts may destroy our hope and spirit. We must try not to lose our poise. Do not give in to fear or hate. Do not sink in the sea of ignorance under waves of coercion for it is our burden to be a guide to those who would be swayed by false light.
