Hilarious Emotional Outburst by Leftists

So I have gone ahead and started my own thread as well: http://www.revleft.com/vb/so-leftists-do-t111164/index.html.

I have to say, thinking about it, I do not think most hard core Communists are really that much different than us, given that their ultimate goal really is the elimination of government, as far as I can tell. The problem is that they think that government can somehow institute its own demise. The Communist parties of China and the old Soviet Union are not and were not really Communist parties, they were Socialist parties.

Maybe I am wrong, but that is how I see it.

That is a fallacy, Communism has a government, just no classes, which means that it automatically fails as the government is a class…

Communism (from Latin: communis = “common”) is a socioeconomic structure and political ideology that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society…” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism ).

It promotes a stateless society. No government.

Communism claims to be able to bring down government through government! Or better said, it claims to be able to bring about a free society through Socialism! Hah!

As long as their communist economy requires central planning, there will always be a reconstitution of the state, if only at first to try and pretend like it’s possible to plan out an entire economy.

Ahahah.. You sound like my mother → lulz

lol, what actions? As far as I can tell I’m basically the only one who hasn’t been restricted.. lmao

I kind of feel sorry for them though… so I haven’t really bothered with any rebuttals or responses. I guess I should go read the Black Book of Communism, or the Gulag Archipelago, that’d probably snap me out of it.

Maybe I am too ideological, Marx was explicit in the necessity of the state…

The idea was a dictatorship of the proletariat, until there was no more bourgeoisie, then the government could comprise of anyone…

Similar to the Black Revolutionaries Idea that they should have 400 years of white slavery, to make it even…

I agree. However, my point is simply that they do advocate a stateless society. It is just that their means will never result in a stateless society.

There are actually two forms of Communism that Marx spoke of. Crude Communism and Full Communism. Crude Communism is the dictatorship of the proletariat and generally a horrible world where everything the anti-capitalists say about the communists is true. There is mass destruction, thief, property destruction, universal prostitution. This would then somehow transcend to Full Communism that has super abudence and everyone is just happy little busy bee.

I think it is funny. They do not really know how to classify self-employed people. They are both bourgeoisie and proletariat! I just think they do not even think of these people, who in a free society, would probably make up a majority of society.

Basically, the communist doctrine is self contradictory. It at once wants centrally planned economies and stateless societies. Makes no sense.

Same…

So I am too Realist???

I think Marx places them in Bourgeousie…

They do not work for society, but personal gain… Somehow that is immoral to Marx…

Marx himself was bourgeoisie… hahah, someone make a thread… [H]

Well I have to go to work…

Maybe I will start telling them the proletariat thinks they are idiots?

Check out Marx and the Organization of Labor. Really great lecture. Also Marx and Mercantilism.

I see their hatred of capitalism outweighing their distaste for the state. They don’t want to abandon the state for the same reasons we do. In fact, I would guess that they would prefer state communism to anarcho-capitalism. They aren’t worried about violence, they’re worried about property and economic ‘exploitation.’ That’s why most of those stupid young “anarchists” that you see on T.V. with Che T-shirts are throwing rocks through store windows. Most of them don’t care about ethics, they just hate capitalism.

Maybe I’m wrong. I don’t know.

I really don’t think they could ever be our allies against the state. I had a friend who was an anarcho-communist even before I was a libertarian. One of those vegan hipster suburban middle class kids who would go around talking about the oppressed workers (who he’s never met) and would spout out things like “Fuck the man who’s keeping us down.” I talked to him the other day, our first conversation since I became an anarchist, and he told me that he might actually support the state. I was astonished, and obviously I asked him why. He replied that he wasn’t sure, but he thinks the best way to achieve a worker’s paradise would be through a big government.

I hope this is not how most communists feel.

Given how Russia and China turned out, they probably do.

I also think you make very good points that they are probably more concerned with property and economic forced equality, as opposed to equality of liberty.

‘We are adversaries, and yet the goal which we both pursue is the same. What is the common goal of economists [i.e., classical liberals] and socialists? Is it not a society where the production of all the goods necessary to the maintenance and embellishment of life shall be as abundant as possible, and where the distribution of these same goods among those who have created them through their labor shall be as just as possible? … Only we approach this goal by different paths…. Why do you refuse to follow the path of liberty alongside us? … If you became certain that you had been mistaken as to the true cause of the evils which afflict society and the means of remedying them … you would come over to us.’

-Gustave de Molinari

So in other words real world communism, and fantasy communism. [;)]
