I am, as I know all of you are, aware that capitalism in the United states has been, well, hasn’t even come close to existing in a long, long time. What I’m trying to discover is if if the same things are happening on an international level. How has the world (countries in collusion, international organizations, etc.) stifled capitalism and free markets? I have some basic ideas such as the World Bank, WTO, etc. but I’d like to know if anybody has some more in depth ideas or could recommend me some good books/papers to help me better understand how we have screwed the laissez-faire on an international level as well as a national one.
In liberty,
Chris
