In the box that says “Message” there is a menu bar that starts with B I U on the left. Look at button to the far right.
Checkout the menu bar; there is an HTML option you can click, that gets you into pure HTML mode.
If you don’t see a menu bar, it could be some browser incompatibility. Some guys have been having problems to break their text into paragraphs, so there could be some bug there.
Well, thank you, but it is still not working. I have a machine running MAC OS X (Apple) and Safari as a browser. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Indeed, this is my problem! What to do?
P.S. Maybe the forums are not tested with Apple. Sure, the Apple socialist management might not be appealing to classical liberals but I still think that Apple are wonderful machines.
It works! I am using Firefox on my Mac instead of the standad Safari and it works.
What is socialist about Apple’s management?
How did you get it to work? I’m also using Mac OS X, but I’ve tried both Safari and Firefox, and neither will allow paragraph breaks.
Well, I did nothing special. I just installed latest Firefox available – this is 2.0.0.12. Maybe it works because mine is the German version?! If German is not an option for you then you shall try the latest Netscape – for me it works as well even though I installed the English one.
