Ok, rap is not my brand of music but here is the first video from a best friend who has been chasing this dream for about 10 years. Comments?
Pretty cool indeed, and wow what an awesome break on the video participant! 
Not wishing to be overly critical, I did feel that his delivery style was perhaps a little oddly matched with the subject matter – his was a very aggressive style that reminded me of Eminem in ‘I’m a Soldier’, while he was obviously talking about macking on the honey. Hard to avoid, when one is still finding a style which best suits their voice, but I wonder if in similar songs he might try to go for the suaveness exhibited by Biggie in ‘Big Poppa’ or by Ludacris in practically everything he’s done. It’s all personal taste of course, but the harsh, sharp syllables might be better suited to a battle-rap, or an expression of hardship.
All the same; impressed. I wish him luck!
Plenty of people here like hip hop. This ain’t my kinda hip hop though. It’s not too bad for what it seems like it’s trying to do.
