I made a similar topic awhile back, but to reiterate, I’d cut taxes like crazy. I’m unsure on how the budgetting works, but my first targets would be the community colleges. From what I’ve seen first hand and from friends heresy they’ve begun to ratio credits. I know the Cal State system plans to begin rationing the amount of courses next semester, and I suspect the UC system will follow as well. I figure that if I can get rid of the community college system then the drones of students who have no real interest in academia will be forced to enter the work force (as they were only able to take this two year stint because of subsidies), and the remaining capital can be used to set up for-profit colleges; most likely trade schools.
Trying to get rid of the minimum wage would be my second action. This action would be harder to implement, but I think I could get away with it if the Governor and President have their attention elsewhere.
