I am not an american and I don’t know enough about american political institutions to answer this question but is there any possibilty for impeaching Bush? For moral reasons I believe he should be, but if this is possible in practice is quite another story. Any suggestions/opinions?
Impeachment is a legislative proceeding against a member of government. It hasn’t happened yet and it’s not going to happen by January 20, when Bush leaves town. He can then be prosecuted criminally for crimes while in office but that isn’t going to happen either.
Impeaching him now would practically be nothing but a waste of time, however, prosecuting him for war crimes is another story worth pursuing [;)]
