The point is, libertarianism is an intellectually sound pursuit. Religion is a polar opposite. The two are not reconcilable and to be a religious libertarian is to be a moronic non-moron. Libertarianism needs all the support it can get if we are ever to truly realize this dream of freedom, so I advocate we disassociate ourselves from the lunacy that is religion in order to solidify our intellectual position. If you mean that polycentric customary law and economic science are ‘sound pursuits’ I agree, but these have as little to do with libertarianism proper as engineering does to technocracy.

Contradiction, you want as large a correlation as possible while seperating ourselves with about 80% of the world’s population. Furthermore if you’re saying that the religeous cannot get anything right and are all stupid dumbfucks then 90% of the technologies you enjoy today should be abandoned and you should go and live in a forest and make your own sciences to get away from religeon.
Furthermore almost every Austrian economist up to Rothbard was religeous and Lew Rockwell is a hardcore christian. Why is it that just because someone believes something which does not make sense to you, but which doesn’t harm your cause in any way, that you should break away from them and not let them into your organization? Absurd. I’m an atheist but I am an atheist second, and an austro-libertarian first. Why should I concern myself with your beliefs so long as they don’t impact my freedom? I shouldn’t. I’ll take all the allies I can get and so should you. I cannot understand why you would seemingly seek to offend allies.
And, frankly unless you are god himself then there is no possible way you can know for a fact that there is no god. It is possible (though I may believe that chance to be small) that us atheists are wrong and it is a god-like arrogance to definitively assert otherwise. Second, the guy who developed the internet you are using to parade your idiocy is an atheist. Most scientists are atheists/agnostic.
