The owner of Segway, Inc., Jimi Heselden, died in an accident after he drove his Segway off a 30-foot tall cliff. While tragic, his death is ironic: Mr. Heselden is also the chairman of Hesco Bastion, a manufacturer of protective barriers…
“it is the proof, that segways are unsafe! We should demand our governments to prohibit those evil things!” - the masses.
You want irony?
The minute the guy filed his patent, he killed what was back then proclaimed by him as the greatest revolutionary invention since the wheel.
Almost 10 years later, this two wheeler with two motors and a rod is still selling not much less then a small brand new compact car.
The irony is in the fact that the cliff he drove off of was on his property and he was the chairman of a company that makes protective barriers.
Seriously, you guys are killing me. :^P
