Lindsay Clancy’s trial was discussed by many Anarcho-capitalists across Twitter. So here’s a thread for it.

The main point in contention is the claim of Insanity.
Do you think Lindsay Clancy should face punishment? Why or why not? How does Insanity factor into your opinion?
I unironically believe someone else did it. And that’s solely because of how her suicide attempt failed
You can’t tell me that Lindsay Clancy, a NURSE, would silt her wrists horizontally, when anyone with basic medical knowledge would know cutting the arm veins vertically or diagonally is much more likely to result in death. Only someone with no medical knowledge would do it horizontally.
And you can’t tell me that Lindsay Clancy, who was supposedly weakened said silts, would have the strength to move a WHOLE BED just to jump from a SHORTER drop, when she could have easily jump from the front window that have a HIGHER drop, and a GUARENTEED chance of death. Even more suspiciously, the drop she choose was HIDEN from police, while the one that would have killed her would have put her body in CLEAR SITE of the police, which makes you think she, or SOMEONE ELSE, was more concerned about hiding her body.
I’m not gonna speculate on who did it, but I feel like this evidence needs to be re-examined by the police now that the trial has mis-trialed, because this whole “Postpartum depression” nonsense is just gonna distract the case from the real culprit.
^ I really don’t care very much about the case (I think it’s more interesting to discuss if it matters one way or another) so I don’t have a dog in this race, but according to that argument then why in the world would Clancy’s defense admit that she did it and go for the insanity defense?
