where i live doctors from iran, indian, england and usa cannot come and start work straight away
they have to pass all sorts of exams and courses at uni , i’m assuming the doctors here lobbied for it to get higher wages and be free from competition

Back here the medical profession is overrregulated and still doctors earn a pittance. Anyone with even a remotely serious disease chooses to go abroad form medication.
If there’s regulation by a monopolistic violent involuntary entity (government), then it’s too heavily regulated.
