This thread has just been elevated to ‘epic’ status.
As long as their is a government to pawn of off and benefit from, then businesses and individuals will always take advantage of it.
You can’t blame them, they are only working in their own self interest, which is what capitalism is founded on.
Government is to blame.
In the book The Sovereign Individual, the authors claim that new technology in the Information Age is going to do exactly that.
