Is there anything "outside" the market?

Does anyone or anything exist outside the free market? If so, what is excluded?

when mass starvations happen then that’s when there is no more free market, cause the people are dead and nothing is happening anymore…

The initiation of violence.

I don’t see the government doing anything but interfering with the market. The only link the government has connected to the market is coercion and coercion isn’t a free market template. The government is the same as a band of brigands galloping down from the hills to steal and plunder and then move on to their next prey. So in that sense I agree.

Allow me to rephrase your question:

Does any exchange between two individuals take place that is not done by mutual voluntary consent?

Yes - this was what I was looking for. Take for instance our Developmentally Disabled population - or the comatose. They are still within the market, are then not? But is not some form of government intervention needed here?

Do you believe that it is OK for “charity” to be collected at gun point?

Absolutely not.

Why? Do you want to go what Terri Schiavo’s parents went through?

Uh no.

Well then, I believe you’ve answered your own question.

Government involovement always leads to more misery and death.

Pulled the answer from Wiki, it is a spammer.

Parental love!

Crime, including governmental crime.

I believe macedonia74 is referring to the fact that the developmentally disabled population and others like them cannot be considered rational actors due to them being medically incapable of full reason. The same applies to children, and, depending on your views, animals. As such, such people would not have the same full range of rights as rational adults would in a free society.

they have the same full range of rights since they have the potential of realizing such natural rights. Meaning, they could suddenly wake up tomorrow morning, in one second, or in a couple years, etc… and realize these natural rights due to they are human and it is in their nature to realize such things as natural rights.

lol wtf

It’s not that they don’t have all of the rights, because they do. But are they able to take part in the free market like everyone else? Therefore, are they “outside” of it?

How are they not part of the free market? Your first question here above is an infinite question.
