Or that we have to stick with a pre-determined conclusion that jews are good no matter what the results of analyzing their sacred book and their influece in history says? You may live in the approved media with talks about Iran, but having powerful group of people publicly advocating nuking a country entirely is cause of concern for me. Germany and Austria live in fear and have to jail their citizenry and stay police-states destroying and subverting the laws and values in order to be alive and not be nuked to dust. Selling a war against Germany and it’s neccessary nuking would be easier, they have suffer the worst propaganda campaign ever launched.

Years ago I researched why Freedom of Speech is restricted in certain historical areas, I dig and dig and discovered it’s all a pack of lies! It’s simple researching and courage. As it is, the man is inconsistent. First, he condemns Jews on grounds of their faith and basic teachings of several millenia. Then, he says that they are a non-Semitic central Asian tribe called Khazars. Now, one can say that modern days Jews are Khazars who adopted another faith for the advantages of it, and have only cynical interests in it (an argument that is put forth by British chauvinists who say Palestine belongs to them). Or one can say that they are Hebrews who have maintained the problematic tenants of ages past. But he can not have it both ways.
What is worse is that he calls them Semites, when he had previously called them Khazars, who are not Semites. Well what is it? Are they or are they not Semites? Make up your mind already.
As it is, it is useless to talk about Jews when discussing Israel. Israel has Arab politicians, Arab supporters, and Arab citizens, many of whom fully condone the subhuman treatment to Palestinians, much the way Egyptians and Jordanians do. The Arab establishment is largely pro-Israel, especially the governments in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Arabs do regular business with Israelis and the Israeli government and profit handsomely from it. Who else gives the Israeli military its oil other than Arab leaders? And indeed, it is Arabs who join hands with Israeli in their suspicion of Shi’ia Muslims and Iran. Israel itself can not be reduced to a single monoculture. The Israeli Prime Minister is a Boston-raised American who talks like a Boston-raised American, looks like a Boston-raised American, and behaves like a Boston-raised American. Are we to suggest some global conspiracy by Bostonians? People say that there are “Zionist Occupied Governments”, right when Israel is an “American Occupied Government”. What does that tell you about all these folks getting panicky about Jewish conspiracies?

I’m saying it’s patently ridiculous to blame an entire religion, ethinicity, race, etc., on the actions of a few who just happened to belong to such categories. It’s sort of like a teacher punishing her entire class due to the action of one unruly student.

Ashkenazis never where in Palestine. They where Turkic tribes that originated in modern day Kazakhstan, when the local King was pressed between Byzantium and the caliphate, and wanted a monotheistic religion that was neither Christianity nor Islam.
Sephardim jews, on the other hand, have a claim to being genetic Hebrews.
Now, if ‘jew’ is used to mean someone observing the Jewish religion, than that distinction is worthless. But if we speak of the guys who actually lived in Palestine back than, its of massive importance (not that it matter for making Israel any more or less ‘legitimate’, of course).
