Found this interesting quote from End of Laissez Faire:

PS: Keynes was an awful writer. “so-called question so really unimportant so irrelevant to such and such as such and such”? So many "so"s there! I had to eliminate words from the first part to make it look less wordy and more readable. Paul Samuelson was right about Keynes’ poor writing and organizing ability.
Sounds to me like he’s a historical materialist who’s saying, “socialism is inevitable, it happens no matter what we do, it doesn’t matter whether we nationalize the railroads”.
I didn’t know Keynes was a hardline statist who disliked ‘unlimited private profit’ and wanted the gubberment to own the means of production.
