Leeson/ Boetteke paper on Misean methodology

I stumbled across this brilliant short paper today and really enjoyed it, so I thought I would share it:

Not much new info here on methodology or anything, but it is nice to see so many isses addressed in a clear and compact manner.

Some things addressed that I noticed on my 1st read:

1. Analytic / Synthetic distinction, and how Mises preceedes quine

2. Mises realtion to Kantian terminology

3. Relating theory to realistic models (why you can’t construct a world where labor leads to joy)

4. The radically empirical nature of Mises’ a priorism

5. The uniquely radically subjective view point of Austrian econ

6. The “mere tautology” accusation
