"Libertarian Madness" (Brought to you by HuffPo)

I will not give the obligatory disclaimer of how much I hate this site, especially since this idiot takes another guy’s quote’s simply mentioning of Cato & generalizes everything that Cato stands for to be represenative of libertarianism, so here’s the excerpt anyway:

Thoughts?

For some reason, I’ve noticed a slight increase in such smears as of late, while at the same time, a noticeable increase of tolerance towards libertarian comments & ideas throughout the Internet (usually associated with the latest economic news).

I realize correlation does not equal causation, yet can’t help but feel it’s not a coincidence.

Hopefully, I won’t feel the need to post anything further from this “site”; I only got irked by it while scouring Reddit for more worthwhile content.

  1. he’s criticizing libertarians who would be the first to point the finger at government interfering in the affairs of forign nations.

  2. standards of living were higher during colonialism anyway

Whoa. Chemically pure marxism…amazing.

“raise trade barriers, and conquer other nations to control resources”

this is the same argument that marx bites his own ass with. the problem of markets is that they are monopoolistic- therefore admitting that less monopolistic ones are better. and what erodes monopoly- thats right, markets

Yeah, I think that is what Mr. Bauer meant by government intervention.
