Looking for "The Constitution of Liberty"

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking for Hayek’s “The Constitution of Liberty” and it seems it’s quite hard to come by. It looks like Amazon has it, but the stock is quite low. Considering the fact that it’s most likely out of print and that it’s quite old, is there any chance Mises.org would make it freely available through the Literature library? It’s quite puzzling that such a well-known book is nowhere to be found; I couldn’t find a bookstore around here that has it.

I’ve had similar problems trying to find Long’s Reason and Value, the cheapest copy I can find is £150 or so.

Bizarre, I just checked. There were three other copies for £20 or so last week. No, I wouldn’t pay £125 for it. [:S]

Yeah I didn’t think so. What a pain, I might import it from the US sooner or later, I’ve got plenty of books still to read though so it’s no problem.

Hayek’s book is $20 - $25, though there’s no electronic format version.

However, considering it’s old, probably out of print in some parts of the world and quite cheap, I’m interested if we could donate to Mises.org to make it electronically available. I could donate as much as the price of a copy or two, and perhaps others would be willing.

There’s a copy for $15.00, including shipping within the U.S which is actually rather cheap by the standards of most libertarians books.
