I think it is hilarious that the modern NAACP support Mr. King… Mr. King often fought with NAACP during the civil rights movement
The NAACP was also hostile to Booker T. Washington, who emphasised personal responsibility and argued that the African-Americans could only improve their situation through economic, rather than political, means.
