^ love the video. But i thought the framing was a bit off. rather than comming across as “hey, here’s how to explain the behavior of idots you run across” i would have presented it as “you may not be as competent as you think.”
after all, the kreuger papers seems to suggest that you would have no idea whether you were the idiot in the debate or the victor. So why should you automatically assume it is the other person that is unreasonabley ignoring your excellent counter arguments?
i know a lot of people have accused me of being an arrogant person (on this forum anyways), but i am actually an ardent fan of extreme intellectual humility.
