Bert, we are not debating Mr. Potts. He has not put forth any arguments to debate (only bare claims), and even if he were to put out the arguments, he’s small potatoes in the “revisionist” world. We are more interested in debunking the “gurus”. Read our blog, see what we have to say.
What we’re doing in this case is simply pointing out that he is a Holocaust denier (or negationist, to use a slightly less “charged” term). I think we can agree on this regardless of our views on “revisionism”, no? So we have proven our case.

We’re not free from bias and never claimed otherwise. But in your place I wouldn’t try to read our minds - you don’t know what we will or will not write.
Frankly, who cares what so-and-so denied happened, even if they are wrong? In the western world, the hunt for holocaust deniers/revisionist/negationist/minimizer is one of the more tyrannical things I have seen in modern times.
So there’s one idiot writing for Mises, it doesn’t bother me. I just won’t read anything he has to say anymore. In fact, I’m glad he makes his views known, I’d rather know my enemy than have him stay hidden.
Well, if he honestly believes that the holocaust didn’t happen, then he is indeed an idiot. The last thing Austrians want do is sound like Ahmedinejad.
I didn’t read the link. Maybe I should. I’ve always like what Potts has written and he is a nice guy. I’m not in the business of mind control and it is hard to know where a person’s intellectual interests take them, and obviously we can’t be responsible for that. Nor am I interested in some splashy purge based on new directions of thought. Otherwise, I would remove everything Gene Callahan has written in light of his repudiation of libertarianism and free markets. I have no interest in doing that. Callahan is still an adjunct scholar and we still sell his book. Again, we are not about mind control.
