Okay, I don’t think it’s the forum itself, as I’ve had similar problems with other sites, but maybe someoen else has come across this problem.
Essentially, Firefox ocassionally glitches up when I click a link, & instead of going to a web page, firefox goes shows a random pic (of say, someones’ avatar here or a site graphic), and the problem doesn’t “go away” until I clear Firefox’s cache.
Usually, this fixes it, but is often pops back up, and most of the time, the site itself will glitch, to the point where sometimes firefox won’t load CSS & show me a barebones version of the site, or sometimes it will just show me a bunch of markup code instead. Other times, I see random site graphics (like say, the icon for a topic or something) as a background in the mises forum header.
I’ve tried using the forum on other non-Firefox browsers, & it seems to not do thisat all with other browsers. Something is wrong with Firefox when this forum looks better with IE.
Any ideas? This has been hapenning all day with every other site I go to, and I’m about ready to give up on mozilla (I have not been able to google up a solution to this problem, let alone what this problem is even called). I think it may have something to do with the browser cache, but I haven’t a clue.
I’m also currently using windows xp sp3 if that helps. Thanks.
