I find Mises’ idea that Liberty teaches morality to be a hint to a great argument against legal positivism. Besides Wes Bertrand and his Psychology of Liberty, does anyone know of any books or studies or even clinical trials?? regarding learning/interacting through Positivism vs through Liberty (freedom + responsibility)?
I know there are examples and counterexamples - traffic systems vs simple european small town right before left vs ‘naked streets’ where people in the former seem to drive without precaution expecting that everyone else will be following the rules and paying attention where in the latter systems driving should be more active and participatory.
