More Government Power to Fight the Flu!!!! Glad I didn't vote for Bob Barr.

Here is the paragraph from the web site of the Libertarian (AKA Fascist) Party:

“The Libertarian Party Platform is clear, Libertarians support control over the entry into our country of foreign nationals who pose a threat to security, health or property,” said Donny Ferguson, Libertarian National Committee Communications Director.

The Libertarian Party is almost as lost as those other major parties. They favor strangling commerce with Mexico and hurting the people of the US.

The Swine Flu Pandemic is JUST THE FLU!!! The US has had at least 5, maybe as high as 10, major runs of various flus and colds in my 40 years. This is no different, will people die, yes. Can the government stop the spread without taking liberty and using violence NO!!!

I hope the folks in the LP have the flu or maybe are too stoned to know it but the LP will cease to exist if it wants more government (Two Party) power of the citizenry.

The Libertarian Party is going, going, gone. Not only are they totally inept at being successful in practical politics, they’re totally inept at keeping their own ideological base. An utterly worthless organization.

The government couldn’t stop the spread even if they took all of our liberties away.

When I was first getting into libertarianism, I was really interested in the party. I was young and excited to be registered with a party at all. This was back when Harry Browne was still alive and the LP had that awesomely radical platform.

These days, I look at the “Libertarian” Party and just laugh at the monstrosity it has turned into. It’s a joke that has nothing to do with libertarianism. It’s a socially moderate, slightly more fiscally conservative Republican Party. And that’s about it.

What makes me mad isn’t that they’ve wrecked their own dumbass party, it’s that they’re wrecking the word “libertarian” along with it. They’ve associated libertarianism with mainstream Hannitoid conservatism. Look at Wayne Allyn Root, for cryin’ out loud.
