Most Valuable Posters of the Month

Has the announcement of this month’s MVPs already happened?

That post should be made into a Mises Daily article or something.

I certainly hope that LS does come back; he had some very insightful posts, and I am curious as to what drove him to leave. In my own case, mental illness flares up and causes me post less and less (or not at all) for a while, though the biggest change comes in the chat room, where I have been involved much more frequently than on the forums. There is one bright side: now that LS is gone, there is a niche that is left unfulfilled for us to battle over. May we be up to the challenge.

For outstanding posts in the month of February 2010, the MVP badges go to…

  • AJ
  • Brainpolice
  • Conza88
  • Merlin
  • Stranger

Congratulations, and I invite forum members to quote their favorite posts by these 5 MVPs.

Ah, I guess my deleted post (last minute nomination) did not go un-noticed

for February?[8-)]

Fixed, thanks.

All very good choices.

What!? I posted a thread linking to Cracked.com. Where’s my imperial triumph!? [:P]

Well done to all [8-|]

Thanks fellas’!

It would be really nice if we had a link to some of their contributions. I must have missed something of value on some of these members.

If you want, follow up on Nitroadict’s comment above.

this

p.s. I think Nitro’s right. ; D

p.s.s. nothing against “some” as filc pointed out.

Here.

How exactly does the decision making take place? Behind close doors obviously. Is there a vote? Debate? Or is it one person simply handing out badges for the month.

Hmm… sounds a lot like the Fed. Perhaps we need a bill to audit this process [:P]

Next time, I will link any examples to future nominations (if i have any).

Yes, we came up with this 3 years ago, and agreed to it while most moderators were out on vacation this past Christmas. :stuck_out_tongue:

So we get to post some of our favorite quotes? Sounds grand. evil grin

The ants. Stop speaking to them. [;)]
