Need a Biography

Hello, I’ve been lurking for the past year and need to ask a question. A brief introduction: Ron Paul → Minarchism → Anarcho-Capitalism

Anyway, I need a biography for a school project. I was thinking of picking one on Locke, Marx, etc. (someone important to economics). I need to get a biography that isn’t about a recent person, and it can’t be an American. Any suggestions on which person or which biography?
