What do you think?
I lol’d at:
Should the government be involved in marriage?
Yes, and only marriage between a man and a woman should be legal
No, it should only be involved in civil unions
Yes, and same-sex marriage should be legal
and
Should we have immigration laws?
Yes, otherwise foreign diseases would be rampant and our crime would increase
Yes, but it should be easier to gain citizenship
No, immigrants increase our wealth
How often do you beat your wife?
Huh?
I think he’s poking fun at the limited number of answers available- like if he asked you
“How often do you beat your wife”- and the answers were only
-
twice a day
-
Once a month
3 . Only when she acts up

If so, then I still do not get it. Because I felt the answers were more like:

Never
I think he meant to ask,
Do you still beat your wife?
I think he meant to ask,
Do you still beat your wife?
Yes, I suppose that’s the usual joke. My bad.
My point was that you have to assume something false in order to directly answer the question in any conceivable way.

What is being assumed that is false?
The “do you still beat your wife question” was meant to demonstrate that whether or not you answer “yes” or “no”, you still look like a wifebeater.
The way some of the questions were phrased, and the possible answers given, made the answerer seem pro-government no matter what answer was chosen.
Still beats the “what pair of underwear are you” facebook quiz though.
