I learned about it as a result of the whole Hoppe ordeal. Hoppe said something along the lines of Keynes saying “we’re all dead in the long run” can be explained by his homosexuality and hence high time preferance.
I do not know if this connection between time preference and homosexuality is valid or not but, if it is, it would be a good argument for allowing homosexuals to get married and adopt children.
Not to be a stickler, but one should not allow, one should stop interfering. The difference in terminology makes all of the difference when communicating with statists.
I understand your point. But, in our current paradigm, I am one who would support the government “allowing” or, if you prefer, “not interfering” in the marriage rights of another group of consenting adults. But, I do understand your point. It is sad we are forced to live in this paradigm.
