The teacher’s union in the school district my wife works in has already told the teachers to not follow this idea of Obama’s at all.
Really? Why?
My brother is a history teacher in West Palm, Florida and his school said that it won’t be watching the obama broadcast.

Here’s a copy of the email from the district. I cut it off when it stated the location of the school.[:P]
"Good morning.
We were informed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education yesterday that President Barack Obama is planning to make a nation-wide speech addressing public school children at noon on Sept. 8, via a Webcast and telecast.
The district administration reviewed the details as we know them and is directing staff not to air the speech, which is scheduled for the middle of the school day…"
then it simply said “good day”. That’s all they said.
Haha.
Why doesn’t Obama show his own transcripts if he’s so concerned with education? And wasn’t he on drugs in high school by his own admission?
