Months ago, Obama said that he will sell fuel rods to Iran if it sells off its uranium stockpile.
Erdogan and Silva negotiated a deal recently, under which Iran will sell most of its uranium to Turkey, and will not be left with more uranium than to conduct even a single test, in return for fuel rods.
So when Iran made this deal, Obama refused.
I thought there would be no pressure on Iran, if there were no nukes.
Now, this arm-twisting is pretty pointless to begin with, since Israel can bomb away Iran’s arsenal with its nukes in a heartbeat. Iran won’t have enough uranium for a single test, but then there is more arm-twisting to be done?

Obama is pretty much anti-israel; how can he be a zionist? His buddies are all socialists, who buy into or pretend to buy into the picture as capitalistic imperialism against the “poor” and “exploited”, and have no particular interest in reasons why there is a conflict (i.e. Western capitalism, to whatever extent, was not acceptable to the local large peasant landowners back in late 1940’s, so they started a war, which they lost, and feel the need to reclaim their “honor”).
The first anti-zionist was Stalin way back when: so, Israel decided not to pursue Communism all the way, thereupon Stalin started his “doctor’s plot” and anti-cosmopolitanism campaign (against Jews in the Soviet Union, who are identified as such in their documents by Soviet law). Obama is anti-Netanyahu and the non-Socialist Israelis, because he wants a “left-middle” party to take control there.
As far as funding, I think it would be better if the US government did not fund Israel. Then, they would lose the “we are impartial” excuse that is used to fund additionally the mafia in the Palistinian fraction, which has so far given most of this money to its leaders or buys weapons. And Israel would be pushed by lack of funding toward more productive economy (less government control, more private cpaital, because as it is, government there recieves this US aid).
