The whole Venus Project thing is just nonsense. It’s just the political end of the spectrum for new-agers to buy into. The entire thing can be debunked on economic calculation. Simply put: it can’t calculate.

What’s sad (or more pathetic) is generally the supporters of the Venus Project are less educated about economics than people who support socialism. All the knowledge they need to know is from Zeitgeist and propaganda.

I really enjoyed those threads. I actually read almost all the posts in all nine there. It was a change of pace for me I guess.[:)] I enjoyed the sharing of ideas. I had a feel of a much wider relational attempt by various individuals each looking for a way to solve what is obviously not currently working in this fiat gov’t-tended society of today. People are looking for answers… some here, some there, some individual over there and there… interesting.

These are the kind of people who have a theory / fallacy / flawed assumptions, and you’re far more knowledgeable - you actually know what it’s called, why it’s wrong and who pioneered it in the history of thought. They have no idea.

The ignorance is amazing. I mean one guy there didn’t even know what capital was. “Why do we need it?” lol.

I was so stoked when I saw you post that video on the tenth page. As I was reading along, I wished LadyAttis or someone else would post that specific video in response to their really flawed views on money. And you did! Bravo.

Ask them: if humans would be scarce in a RBE. Also, ask them: if 1,000,000 people wanted to be in the same 1,000 square-foot house at the same instance, who be allowed to to do so? Also: if 100 people wanted to sleep on the same California king bed at the same instance, who would be allowed to do so?
