I don’t know the actual situation, but in principle - if the insurance companies are firmly attached to the State - then they’re a de facto part of the monopoly on force. Something to keep in mind anyway. Insurance companies not playing the monopoly game are the ones we should be cheering (if there are any).
If what Olberman thinks is true, then one has to wonder how we’ve managed to survive without any kind of healthcare reform. I would argue that it’s because we don’t have it that we’ve managed to live so long!
Does anyone get the feeling tha Olbermann saw that movie Good Night, and Good Luck and now he is trying desperately to make his reporting style like Ed Murrow…
