… my teacher had some responses.
First, I said that the market cannot over or underprovide goods, but my teacher said it could.
Also, I said how pollution permits create problems, but my teacher responded with “but pollution is a negetive externality”.
I showed how a monopoly is the result of government privelege (the origanal meaning) but the teacher said that that wasn’t the only way.
I showed how monopolies can harm, but my teacher said they were sometimes more efficient.
When we got to barriers of entry, my teacher wanted to add economies of scale and control of resources.
Points were taken off on each, but nothing major.
P.S.: Ironically, my presentation on negetive externalities with the schools got a perfect score.
