Certainly a possible goal. Those people aren’t exactly big time celebrities who you have to make an appointment to meet. I’d get a move on if you want to meet Ron Paul though, sine he’s getting up there in age.
Can’t wait till Paul comes around to Pennsylvania on the election circut. I’ve been wanting for some good liberty events in the Philadelphia area after the End the Fed rallies seemed to die off. They were getting a little nutty I think, probably for the best. I wonder if Occupy Philly threw it off the rails this year, as it was in full swing during the usual time they were held, in November.
The last one I went to kicked as though. We started at the Philly Fed and marched to city hall, with a float carrying Jordan Page on it rocking out the whole way. Then on our way back to the bar, the rally accidentally crashed Macy’s holiday event. There were loads of kids out front, and I think we may have ruined Christmas, heh:

At least three out of the four were going to be at the Mises Circle in Houston tomorrow, but it looks like Paul will have to be campaigning. You’ll probably need to get to a campaign event, otherwise you may well never get another chance. Once someone’s President, it’s a little tougher to meet them.
But Lew is usually around Mises events I’m pretty sure. Especially those in Alabama.
Keep an eye on the calendar. You can catch these guys in plenty of places.
I have the same goal. I would add Tom DiLorenzo to the list since his book How Capitalism Saved America is what started me on this journey. I want to get it signed too.

I’ve had Lunch with HHH
I had the honor of listening to Robert Higgs in person, but couldn’t get the courage to go up after his lecture to ask for his autograph or shake his hand at least. I had lunch with David Boaz once. He even tried to talk to me. I was both too shy and didn’t recognize him at the time. My worst regret though is having a chance to meet Paul, but having no idea who he was at the time and preferring not to go.
I suppose we could all gather together and go on a world tour to meet the most prominent libertarians alive today?

I really wish I were not secluded in northern Montana and poor. By the time I save enough federal reserve notes to be able to afford to fly to Alabama for Mises U, the dollar will probably collapse, lol.

Where do I get these subsidies?
Obviously the last thing anyone involved with the event would want is for someone to not attend just because of finances. I would contact this guy. Let him know who you are, where you live, and why you’d like to attend the conference. Relay your situation and explain what your obstacles are and ask if there is any way in which he might be able to offer assistance or if there’s anyone he could put you in contact with who might be able to help.
