God has apparently smite the earth with a flood of paradoxical stupidity and histrionics. I couldn’t be more relieved to have found Mises’s Ark. Oh when will it all end?
I forgot. When did the ‘founding fathers’ think that voting could ‘throw off old guards’? To be honest, I’m somewhat troubled by this facade of liberty that thinks it can march elected representatives to the capital and think all has changed. Can we just skip the last naive grasp on faith in government and move into a total disregard for the state?
I think it’s very well done.
Of course it’s also perfectly generic. You could replace Scott Brown with Bozo the Clown, frinstance, and run the exact same ad.
Who cares about the ad or Scott Brown? He’s irrelevant. What matters is that the Dems don’t have a supermajority anymore.
If Bozo the Clown would vote no on the healthcare bill, I’d elect him too.
Well said. And I think many a Bozo has been elected over the years.
I doubt it will last long. This whole tea bagger movement is based on nothing but sensationalist hyperbole and man worship/hatred; it’s all nothing but hot air. If socialists are stuck in economic limbo, then the tea baggers are on the highway to hell.
It’s very well done by Onion’s standards to say the least.
